U.S.A .  What you see here is a very nice and now rare Martin Committee CORNET from mid 1950s ( 1955 ) best era for those  #191453 . Lacquer appears to be original as it`s darkened by age and time. Yes it does have few standard wear spots on the valve cluster. It appears to me that somebody nickel plated all slides so those are not lacquered like the horn. Please examine all photos but it looks really nice like for that age. Engraving is fully readable and visible without any problems. My repairman just took out few minor dents from the bell bow/tail and you won`t even see that those were there. Nothing serious and there where never any major repairs from what I see by looking at it. No repairs on the bell flare where sound comes out and bell flare actually is full of lacquer inside and looks great. It is a medium bore . It plays with nice sound. Valves move very nice and smooth and from how the pistons look this cornet was not played a lot considering age. Again please examine all photos for actual condition as those photos exactly show how it looks like ! NO BRASS PATCHES ! Horn is ready to play or up for display. Great addition to your horn collection if you are a player or a collector. DON`T MISS THIS ONE ! This CORNET also comes with original GUARANTEE CARD with same serial number as on this horn !
