Accessories' Description You are bidding on a VINTAGE 1914 Conn Wonder Cornet with Brass Mute, Hard Case, Mouthpieces, and MORE Rotary tuning slide and others for playing in multiple keysOriginal Case and accessoriesAMAZING vintage tone This listing is for a 1914 Conn cornet with original vintage accessories.  This horn was made before Conn used model numbers, but I was told by an expert that it appears to be part of their Wonder series of high-quality professional instruments.  The most unique feature of this cornet is the rotary tuning slide and additional tuning slides.  These slides allow the cornet to be played in multiple different keys (most likely Bb, A, high/low pitch, and C).  The bell is beautifully engraved with intricate floral designs, and is marked "made by G.G. Conn Elkhart Ind."  The keys have gorgeous mother of pearl buttons on the top.  Each valve is marked with the serial number "136855", and the same number "136855" is also on the outside of the valve area.  There is also the letter "M" stamped above the serial number.  The finish of the instrument is in remarkably great condition based on the age (see pictures for exact condition detail).  The tone of this horn is amazing, and it plays great.  Also included is a vintage Conn brass mute, as seen in the photos.  The front tuning slide and valves work perfectly, but the rear slide is stuck.  This horn includes everything shown in the pictures (case, mouthpieces, lyre, and extra tuning slides).  Because this is a vintage instrument, we are selling it strictly as-is.  Good luck, and happy bidding!
