Description
This is a late 20s early 30s NY Bach # 7 Cornet mp in good original condition. Bach used copper in their plating process on all their mps up till the mid 30s but stopped the practice sometime during the Great Depression. You can see the copper plating on the inner rim and shank where the silver has worn away. Bach used at this time a common taper which will fit all early style Cornets including Conn to give the correct intonation with no gap when the mouthpiece is inserted. Condition is very good, dead smooth rim and no throat or backbore modifications. There are a few light marks below the letters which can be cleaned up before plating but there is enough silver left on the rim to play it as-is. There is no reserve and shipping by priorty at the usual $4.80 email me with any questions you may have. This is the last of my collection of early Bach mps.....................Frank
