It is hand built by Manfred Schmelzer in Germany. The person who bought this horn only had it for 45 days. He wanted something different and traded this one in. The slide has been worked on by the "Slide Dr." It is in really nice condition right now. This is a great time to save some money and get a great horn! The Model 2 is a .508 bore horn with a 7.75 inch bell.  It blows like a bigger horn than what it is. With the gold bell you are getting a very dark sound but can also manipulate it into a piercing sound to cut through the band. The slide is in great shape.
