Words cannot describe the experience of playing one of these horns. Like no other trumpet I have played. Lacquer is not that good on this one, I suppose the instrument could be polished, I would leave as it is, great player.All slides work as they should, valves are very smooth and fast although in looking at them they show some age spots, the trumpet plays good just as it is.Take it and go.
