Sonora 4 Valve Rotary BBb Tuba - Ready to play!!! NR!!! Here is a Sonora 4 valve BBb rotary Tuba. I believe this to be made by Amati. It has a very good full sound. Horn was just worked on and all slides have been fit and lubricated. Valves have been cleaned and oiled so everything works. Its ready to play!!!!! Engraving reads: Sonora. Bottom bow was removed and major reachable dents removed. It has a nickel silver bell wreath like a Miraphone. Bell diameter is 16 1/2", length is 43" and bore size is .747. History has it that this Tuba was based on the original Alexander Tuba pre 2nd world war. It is the same instrument as those 1970`s Selmer-imported "Meister Gerhard Schneider" Tubas. I have received some e-mails from players owning them and they say they are "fine" players. Horn is being sold in "as is" condition. I believe the pictures look better then the horn. Cashiers check from a bank or money order from the post office ONLY accepted. Because of the size it will have to be shipped by truck. There is NO CASE with this auction.
