Selmer Paris mid 50s Bb trumpet Start Price USD 445.00 Current Price USD 445.00 Time Left - Bid Count 1 Buy It Now Price USD 685.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Friday, November 14, 2008 End Time Monday, November 24, 2008 Location Central Texas See more about 'Selmer Paris mid 50s Bb trumpet' Description Selmer Paris Bb trumpet This is a Selmer trumpet from the mid-50's.  It pre-dates the K-Modified model, but is very similar.  This trumpet is in very good overall condition with a few flaws:   there was a crease in the bell flare that has been removed,  there is some failed lacquer on the valve casing that has resulted in some discoloration, and there is a small dent in the lower part of the bell crook.  The remainder of the lacquer is in very good condition and although Selmer used a gold lacquer, it has probably darkened a bit more with age.  It has a nickel silver leadpipe and nickel silver slide tubes.  The fit and finish on this trumpet is outstanding.  The mouthpipe is marked as a model 20, which is a medium bore. Valves are fast and compression is very good. Includes original zippered case which shows some wear, but is still sevicable.  Great playing vintage professional trumpet.  Best suited for solo or chamber work.
