Description
EXTREMLY RARE FRENCH CORNET WITH HYBRID VALVES Extremly rare French cornet with hybrid valves, 2 Soelzel and 1 Périnet, made around 1860 / 1870. It’s stamped on the bell “MAISON SOUCHETTE ANGERS”. It’s not the maker: MAISON SOUCHETTE is the dealer and ANGERS is the town. I think it was made by GAUTROT. It is in very good general state, all slides and valves move freely and it’s a great player! There are an old wooden case in poor condition, 2 crooks (there is a small crack in 1) a mouthpiece probably original and a music holder. There is only a small bump that you can see on the pics N°9. Total length is 34 and bell’s diameter 11.5 cm. It’s really a very interesting cornet, don’t miss it! Shipping cost to USA/CANADA is 65 $, priority mail with insurance and tracking number.
