Vernon Bach Stradivarius Trumpet' Description This is a hand-made Bach trumpet from the Mt. Vernon factory. Serial number 22,123 dates it circa early 1960's. It is in very good condition for a horn over 45 years old, and any collector would be proud to own it. It has a few small dings, but the bell is in very good condition. There is a very small split in the shaft that can be fixed; I have just never had it done. The bell is a medium large bore and there is a Mt. Vernon 7C mouthpiece in the case also. The case is in decent condition as well. I have included a picture of the location of the small split in the bell area. It is at the tip of my finger and is under a 1/2 an inch long. The horn's sound is affected slightly, but the tuning slide can compensate. Place a Bid!
