The serial number under the triangle insignia on the bell is 11,92X which dates this tuba around 1980. I have been told that this is probably a model 180. The bore size is 17.96mm or .707 inches. This F Tuba is in excellent condition. 35 inches long with a 15 inch bell. Sound of tuba is wonderful. Horn is in very good condition with no solder repairs anywhere. Only a few small dents here and there, and then a slight push in on the silver brace on the upper part of the main tube opposite the bell, and then a medium dent on the side of the lower bow towards the bell side. Compression of rotary valves is fantastic and all mechanisms are working smoothly and easily. All slides are pulling fine. Lead pipe is in very good condition. Bell is in very good shape with a little bit of denting, which should be no problem getting out. Inside the bell is a fair amount of spotting. (see pictures) There is no case with this horn.
