MT VERNON NEW YORK Bach Stradivarius Bb Trumpet YEAR 1964 #25041 LARGE BORE L VERY RARE SILVER ! This is one of the last ones ever made at the Mt Vernon, NY Bach plant ! It is a Vintage HIGH QUALITY made Bach Strad which won`t be made like this ever again ! This trumpet is in excellent condition perfectly straight with only minor considering age ! wear spots in contact points on the valve casings more on the 3rd casing 3 spots comparing to others and on the 3rd slide close to finger ring ( please see all photos ) . Silver appears to be original as all engravings are crisp and fully readable. I don`t see any repairs, patches or problems. It is a great player with a 13 inches in length leadpipe from the beginning of the receiver to the moment tuning slide starts. Those Bachs with 12 & 1/2 leadpipes play usually sharp. I don`t see any pitting on the leadpipe and is in very good condition and as you can see engraving on the bell is perfectly visible and readable super sharp. Only found a couple of tiny pings in the bell from mutes very hardly noticeable. Valves move very smooth and fast and all slides pull. Pistons are all original not replated and have excellent 99% compression and no any side play ! Please check out pics as those truly show the beauty of this trumpet. There are also new springs & felts in the valves + water valve pad is new as well. This trumpet also has BRASS VALVE GUIDES which are preferred by players around ths world and all serial numbers on the valves match this horn serial number. Horn is ready to play upon receipt and it plays like a dream !
