Description
Besson England (New Standard), compensating euphonium - Automatic Compensating System. Pitch- Bb. - 3 Valves, Upright Bell. Made in England in a beautiful satin silver finish with contrasting high polished silver tuning slides, valve caps, mouthpiece receiver, joint bands, and inner bell. There are no dents and absolutely no signs of wear on the silver finish. The tuning slides are all greased and the valves move freely. The Besson Automatic Compensating System solves the most significant problem – Faulty Intonation – and does so without requiring a change in fingerings or additional valves. The Automatic Compensating System is simpler, more consistent, and requires less effort. The Besson euphonium has remarkable richness and balanced clarity of tone throughout the scale. There are a mouthpiece - SLOKAR TB 1 A and silent BRASS YAMAHA (PM2) included. There is no hard case included. It was purchased new in the early 1975's but it is in almost very good condition and is ready to play. Serial number: 565079. Please ask all questions.
