Serial number is 22,XXX. This has been a one owner horn and has been lovingly taken care of its entire life. This trumpet is a great player, having been played in a number of very fine orchestras. Horn is completely original lacquer with no alterations. All valves and slides are in good operating condition. Horn is Brass lacquer with inner nickel plated tubes. Valves are in excellent condition with very good compression. Lacquer is about 95% intact with a small amount of wear on the slides and valve casings where the hands rest on the horn. There is some very tiny spotting throughout the horn on the lacquer. There are no dents on the horn and no dent work has ever been done to the horn. There are only a few very small, insignificant dings on the bell and bell tube of the trumpet. Shape of bell is superb with no damage to the bell edge. Horn comes with Mt Vernon 7 trumpet mouthpiece, original case in esquisite condition, accessories for cleaning the trumpet, and the original owner's record card and Bach instruction sheet about the care of the instrument.
