Description
1957 Pre-number/series french horn. true elkhart valves. Restored by Dennish Houghton of Houghton Horns. Formerly owned by Gregory Umber, pricipal 4th in the Pheonix Symphony orchestra. Serial number is in the 700k. The horn has superb, dark tone, very open in low, mid-, and high ranges. No lacquer, needs monthly polishing or good rub. Screwbell was added to horn in 2007. I hate to let it go, but i have medical bills i need to pay asap.
