I bought this horn not too long ago FROM ORIGINAL OWNER !  This horn is in great condition as shown on detailed photos below. I noticed only one possible small repair on the top of the bell and tried to show that on photo. It is only visible when you look for it closely and not visible from the front of the horn. Please see photos. Please note a rarity of this item as this is an early Monette Chicago no longer made like this ! DON`T MISS ! This instrument is in great shape and original owner took a great care of this horn. It sounds absolutely great in the whole range from bottom to the top. There are no dents or any dings. Valves are smooth and fast with great compression. This horn really has a just right amount of darkness in the sound great for any style of music. Of course you can also adjust amount of darker and brighter overtones when mouthpiece is changed from deeper to shallower cup. During time of my ownership I played it only with valve guard and I recommend this to a new owner as well. No you don`t need to send this trumpet to Monette for adjustment unless you wish to do so. It`s ready to play out of the box and you will really love it from the first sight and note you play on it ! Believe me after trying many other Monette models you will always come back to Chicago ! DON`T MISS. I`m selling it only because I own many various trumpets and this one was not played a lot recently. Somebody outthere will enjoy this Monette big time ! This is THE BEST Bb TRUMPET ON THE PLANET EARTH ! and plays nice and smooth in the whole range with a beautiful darker tone but not as dark as the heavy models made by Monette and still blends nicely with conventinal other brands trumpets. Weight of this horn is around 2 lbs so metric 1 kg of weight.  All slides are coming out DON`T MISS. This trumpet comes with the mouthpiece shown on photos which is a Monette STC1 size B15M pretty big mouthpiece which gives a nice dark sound great for jazz or classical playing. If you need other size please let me know as I have B3 and B8 STC1 available in great condition as well as B6 STC1  in good condition and B2 lightweight in great shape and can exchange the one from photo to any of the other size I just mentioned. ( This offer is only valid to a buyer of this trumpet ).
