Hirsbrunner has been one of the finest names in euphonium and tuba manufacture for decades, and for a sweet, soloistic euphonium, I do not think there is a better instrument (though the Willson comes close). This is the horn you need for your euphonium solos to rise over the rest of the band, orchestra, or whatever ensemble you play in. Less bombastic than a Besson, and IMO more colorful than a Willson, and the compensating system makes intonation spot on, even in the low register. This particular instrument is in wonderful condition. The pics say it all, really. Original silver is near 100% present, with very few scratches and surface marks. There are a couple of very minor dings here and there, but nothing major and no signs of prior repair. Valves (see pic) are excellent, and light and fast. Pics tell the rest of the story!
